St. Teresa’s Symphonic Brass Band organized a band camp on the 29th and 30th of May. The camp aimed at instilling teamwork among band members and improving members' skills in playing their own respective instruments. The theme of this year’s band camp is "Disney".

On the first day of the camp, May 28th, band members were required to reach the band room by 7 a.m. The camp started with registration. After that, there was an ice-breaking session in the band room. The objective of the session was to make sure that all band members know one another. There was a full band practice after the ice-breaking session. The band members had lunch at 11.30 a.m. and continued their full band practice from 1.30 p.m. till 4.30 p.m. The first day of the camp ended and all of them went back.

On the second day of the camp, May 29th, the band members were divided into 6 groups and they were required to make a flag that revolved around the theme of the camp and that is unique to their groups. The band's cheer-on session started soon after the flag-making session ended. The groups were required to say the band's cheer. The aim of that activity was to increase the band's team spirit. After that, there was a photoshoot and a group presentation. After those two activities, the band members had lunch. After lunch, the 6 groups were required to play games at different stations. The aim of the game was to encourage members to interact with one another and instil teamwork among band members. The camp ended at 6 p.m. and everyone went home feeling exhausted but happy at the same time. Some felt nostalgia for the band camp as it was their last one.

Love and serve,
