On the 18th of May, 2016, St. Teresa Secondary School celebrated its annual Co-op Day. Students and teachers gathered in the school hall at 7.45 a.m. sharp.

The event began with the singing of the national and state anthems. It was then followed by the co-op members singing the co-op song as a choir. The performance was then followed by a speech by our principal, Madam Mary John.

What came next got everyone sitting at the edge of their chairs - the presentation of certificates to the best co-op member (student category) and the best co-op member (teacher catogory). The prizes were bagged by Ting Jia Yee and Madam Averlyn Anak Siang respectively.

After that, the school band performed “Pirates of The Caribbean – Part 3” as an entertainment for everyone. Everyone was thrilled by the performance.

The students and teachers were then invited to the bazaar. The stalls were set up in the school compound by various uniformed bodies and clubs. Most of the stalls had food and drinks to be sold while a few had games to be played followed by prizes to be won.

Throughout the whole Co-Op Day, the stallholders had gained valuable knowledge and experience.

Love and serve,
Nur 'Izzah
